What is Tahsin Al-Quran?

Tahsin al-Quran (تَحْسِينُ القُرْآن) refers
to the improvement, beautification,
and refinement of Quranic recitation.

It involves perfecting the pronunciation, intonation, and rules of Tajweed to recite the Quran as accurately and melodiously as
possible, just as it was revealed to the
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

Why is Tahsin Important?

The Quran should be recited correctly as Allah commanded:
"And recite the Quran with measured recitation." (Quran 73:4)

  • Prevents mispronunciation that could change meanings.

  • Enhances spiritual connection and reflection (Tadabbur).
